Description

You wake up in a completely unfamiliar place without any memories of yourself surrounded by hostile soldiers. What is that like?

The male protagonist gets a nickname Nemo and is forced to investigate a cruel crime in exchange for the Commander’s patronage. To solve the case, he joins the elite squad of soldiers and he needs to get the trust of his comrades in order to find the culprit. However, what if the murder hides even more secrets and solved mysteries will only raise new questions? Will his new comrades become his companions or enemies?

Nemo. A guy with amnesia. Under the Commander’s protection, he joins a squad of young soldiers to spy and then investigate a crime.

Lien. A child of war. Lien is a representative of the enemy side. He leads a completely different life in fear of being killed by black apostates and with desire to avenge the death of a dear person.

The usual feature of choices for deep engagement is not always enough. The game also provides the opportunity to move independently around the camp, interact with objects and characters.

The characters have a lot of unique features (both comedic and dramatic), habits and their behaviour is unpredictable. If you wish, you can learn more about their personality by interacting with them.

► Secretly investigate the mysterious crime and search for clues

Find clues, make your choices and follow the story to find the culprit.  Moreover, characters can give you some hints that will help you solve the crime.

► A lot of meaningful choices affecting scenes you get

Nemo will have to not only investigate the crime but also learn to live in unknown world and decide which side he is on in the military conflict.

Credits

Nozori Games is a small indie development group appeared in July 2018.  We - Noasaki and Orizori - are its founders and authors of the game Guilty Parade. The idea of creating this game appeared three years ago, but active development began in September 2018.

In the beginning, Guilty Parade was planned as a classic short ADV Visual Novel (VN). But working on the plot and characters we decided that the story required scope and this approach would not provide a player with immersive story experience and interactivity at a sufficient level. Moreover, the possibility of a crime investigation on your own would make detective fiction more exciting. Therefore, inspired by successful examples of combining VN and gameplay mechanics (like Zero Escape Series) we added Point-and-Click elements and using a variety of meaningful choices allowed a player to decide which side in the military conflict he/she wants to support.

On November 21, 2018, a preview version of Guilty Parade was released in Russian (20-30 minutes of gameplay), and even then it received good reviews from players.

As developers, we aim to create our own world with its own laws. Guilty Parade is primarily a story about people. And their desires and fears make a history.
